Went to see it today. This was my first ever star wars movie in the theater besides The Force Awakens. It was so cool to finally see a real Star Wars movie in theaters. Definitely an amazing experience!

I have great memories of this movie. I saw it as a teen during the midnight premiere at my local small town theater. My siblings and I dressed in costumes (I was Darth Vader), and we had our pictures taken, and we ended up on the front page of our local newspaper. I have that paper to this day, one of my most prized possessions.

Absolutely phenomenal experience seeing this for the first time in the cinema. Such a brilliant movie as well. Now I only need to re-read the novelization and watch the SW political video “how liberty dies” 🤯

It's absurd how some people sleep on this. The prequels are good and this proves they conect with audiences even in the current climate where Star Wars has been devalued and movies in general fail to excite the general public. It's just that good.

There's a reason it's THE BEST Star Wars film ever made (Yeah suck it!) I predicted 35 million dollars worldwide for ROTS 20th anniversary.
But 42 Million Dollars! in its opening weekend ....so far now THAT'S CRAZY. ROTS has more than doubled the box office of TPM's entire 25th anniversary re-release last year in only a weekend and TPM's re-release was considered to be an amazing turn out 2nd biggest in history in fact. If Disney leave ROTS in cinemas for as long as Avatar's 2022 re-release was there's slim a chance it could take the number 1 spot but oh well.
Never let the people both old and new (especially online) who tried to bury this film and George Lucas live this down. 20 years later and The Prequels are still kicking ass (even more than the OT it seems)
