Definitive Edition...gives you more character moments and the acting is pretty good. Plus it's got a "free drive" mode where you can just explore the city.

Definitive, followed by 2 and 3. Easily the best game trilogy of all time. No misses and makes you feel like Goodfellas

I would do it this way: start with og one. Then when needed, you go to definitive edition. Some things definitive edition did better and expanded on, but some things are better in the og version.

Definitive. Though it is quite an adjustment to go from Mafia Definitive Edition to Mafia 2. Ended up having a rough time and got pissed several times, especially towards the end.

Well as someone who played first mafia many and many times and loved it every time, the definitive edition ads a ton of lesser and bigger story improvments so i think you will have more fun with that. What i would recomend the most (if you got the time and little patience because OG is kinda old so gameplay can be little problem when you are used to Modern games) is to play the OG atleast for yourself and then play the remake to really appreciate the changes. Im really Happy you are gonna do that because Mafia games are one my most favourite games off all time. One big reason fot that is I played this games when i was really young and my English skills were almost non-existent so i didn’t understand many of the games i played but Mafia being a Czech game (where my CZ fellas at-kde jsou mí čeští bratři) i always knew what was going on, yeah i was young so depth of some things didnt hit me as much right away but they did more and more with time so they are a big thing for me and thank you for playing them on your chanell and hope you will do other games as well, bye.

Mafia definitive addition is my top 5 favorite game I fall asleep to a cutscene movie often lol so a gaming wins would be chef kiss
