Absolutely love this perspective, Dan. Your phrasing of obsession as a disciplined lens really resonates. The idea that a problem can become a way to perceive reality is so true; sitting with it long enough naturally allows insights to emerge, and the caveat of not letting it destroy your mind is crucial. It made me reflect on how we engage with problems beyond just solving them. In my own work, I’ve been exploring a broader compass: some problems are meant to be solved, some dissolved, some outgrown, some transcended, and sometimes the most powerful move is simply to abide with them, letting the rawness teach you without immediate intervention. Your post actually sparked a new idea for my next letter, exploring this dynamic between obsessive engagement and conscious discernment. Thank you for the inspiration. It’s the kind of post that doesn’t just teach, it sets other ideas in motion.

Yes… sometimes you obsess over it. Then sometimes, you leave it alone. Then the solution comes as an insight. But only those involved will understand.

I kindly recommend putting your name on the image in your post so that people can just screenshot it and go-with you getting credit

The more energy you put into something the more it resists manifesting. Dwell upon it and then, let it go; the answers come faster as a result. Sitting with it tells the universe you are struggling and it will give you more struggle. Spiritual principles matter in a world of matter. “Flow like water” -Bruce Lee

Just tell your subconscious mind to sort it out. Think about the problem just before going to sleep but don't try and solve it. you may have a solution next morning

From a horse-drawn carriage to rocket ships, there's always a series of steps available to solve a problem. It may take thousands of years and an absurd amount of resources, but it's possible.
