Oh dear.

Oh no.

I thought I could escape and yet I am once again back on my bullshit.

My Shakespeare bullshit.

Honestly, not to make you feel old, but I still reference and rewatch some of your old Shakespeare videos when I'm teaching. Glad to hear you're talking about the Bard again, even if it's to say why you will not be talking about him.

@BernardMcFadden

As someone who still watches the Shakespeare Month/Summer of Shakespeare series periodically, I have missed it greatly. I attribute a lot of my artistic and academic inspiration to those videos. I can’t wait for this one, even if its function is that of an informal series finale.

@reddeathmonster

Kyle, I think we all miss your Shakespeare content. I would love to see more like it, however, you have personally taken me to so many new places. Places I would have never been able to appreciate and/or understand. I thank for all your hard work! I’m ready for whatever new paths we travel. Thank you again, sincerely, you are appreciated.

Damn those alternate pitches tho, I can't even fathom the idea of Contemporary Era Kyle going all the way back to Trash Humpers

On the one hand, I can totally appreciate your desire to move to different topics - that said, I always really appreciated your old Shakespeare videos and so I am actually really looking forward to this. Also those other pitches sound *amazing^ so I hope you decide to make some or all of them as well, if they inspire you.

@Pedriar2

I adore your videos on Shakespeare . and a little suggestion. I would love to see a kinda of a Cinema Antifa with a Latin American movie like I'm still here, or The Official History or even No. I think you would love this movies.

Three days ago, I remembered the William Tell recap of Kenneth Branagh's adaptations. I still know it word for word despite not having watched that video for years until just now to check.

damn dude, i really loved ur shakespeare videos. i feel like i do understand the point being hinted at here though (which kinda came up in the omkara video if im remembering right? shakespeare as a colonial tool representing the superiority of white english art?), and obviously its completely ur prerogative what kinda videos u wanna make now. excited for this, and several of those other pitches!

That makes me kind of sad. I loved your videos about Shakespeare. I am looking forward to the video in any case.

Everyone talks about Shakespeare. Everyone.

Will the 'everyone' running gag make it's triumphant return? Consider me hyped.

@Organman2410

Your videos on Shakespeare got me hooked onto Kenneth Branaugh’s Hamlet and Much ado about Nothing, so thank you for that. My biggest unanswered question from those videos is what the heck Harold Bloom said about ‘taming of the shrew’ that made you want to put a fist through a wall…any chance you’ll answer that?
