I hope it doesn’t get the AOC treatment and it actually tells the story within the confines of tears of the kingdoms story

Can’t wait to see how Terrako changes the timeline this time. 🤣

As much as people may say that they don’t enjoy the changes in the story, I actually do hope for this to happen. Aoc is a warriors game and although it may not have fit with the lore and became non canon, the story they did make turned out to be very fun and engaging. These changes and stories are just really cool and I’m really excited to see what will happen in this one and know that it will live up to my expectations and hype that the previous have.

I’m excited, but my immediate concern is that this is working with a lot weaker characters than AOC had. The sages don’t have personalities like the champions did, and at least for a good amount of the story you probably won’t even have access to Link (though I’m sure he and the new sages will be playable in the end either through time travel like AOC or just a postgame unlock). And I REALLY hope this sticks closer to the canon than AOC did.

@Jacobulous

I feel like the lore implications of this game, even if it is not officially cannon, could be almost earth shattering.

As soon as we first saw ganondorf underground i KNEW they had to go back to that timeline

They could have it tell the story of how they fought Ganon down to the point where he had to do that sneaky nonsense he pulled with the Queen then the subsequent revenge. But they're almost certainly going to have it be some time travel shenanigans where Link ends up back there with or without Zelda.

@srlee203

Here's hoping the story is as well done as in Age of Calamity

@AlejandroScared

I remember I proposed this as a posibility. Everybody thought I was crazy.

imprisoning war? secret stone?

If this games isn’t canon to TotK, then I hope it will at least connect with AoC in some way. I would rather see Terrako again than have a different Deus Ex Machina introduced.

Honestly I was kinda hoping for different franchise or a fire emblem warriors game that fulfils the promise of the first one

Gannon hurt her man and Zelda is out for blood.

Aoc was a what if, so hopefully this one stays true to the story!

Might be the first Zelda game with no Lonk

No room for alternate timelines this time.

“Coming this winter”. I live in Australia, so what does that mean? Like coming in June/July/August (winter in southern hemisphere) or September/October/November (winter in northern hemisphere)
