Preemo has hits and that's why people choose him over Pete. I think on pure composing and technical skill Pete is ahead because Preemo gets a bit repetitive at times, but I love both of them obviously

love them both man.. but coming in under the sound of jazz from my pops, playing in jazz bands early on, Pete just always hit me different.. Premo get's a lot more props than PR because he basically created that 'New York Sound' back in the 90's and that def something to be said.. But yeah it's PR for me; you can def see his influence on producers like J. Dilla as well as you can hear some of his songs and how some def sound like it could have been PR on the beat.. again, love them both though..
