Released two horror games on Steam, both pretty successful. Had zero experience in coding when I developed my first game. Currently working on my third.

Been at it for a few years mostly in pre-production. Been chipping away in engine for about a year, bricked a few project files, got smart on this attempt split the project in two, well at least until I get GAS fully implemented, waiting on the relevant video to drop.

After graduating from school last November; I decided I want to be an indie developer on the side while I pursue programming and work my way up to cyber security. My current project is going really well and I’m having fun with my new career path at day and indie developer at night

Game Design Doc about halfway done. Have some Blueprints walkthroughs and some Claude code snippets to tinker around with. Idk what I'm doing tho, I just know what I want to do. Kinda sad about it all.

I finished one complete game in another tool. I decided to try learning Unreal Engine. I really like it, but the game ideas haven't been coming. Now I'm just in a limbo phase.

I was making massive progress but I can't continue the course I was on because it was what I was doing the night my girlfriend went to hospital and passed away the next morning. Every time I try to carry on I think about it. It's really difficult to do something you love when it reminds you of that which hurts you the most

Top of the am from CA bro. I’ve been using your videos to really help get the framework for my project off the ground. Currently getting the UI worked out, and making it functional. The next step for me is testing functionality of said UI. I’d like to start making the basic prototype next for it, once the UI is built completely. Once the prototype is done. I want to start ImPorting custom assets in place of the test models.

Just looking up tutorials and building a monster PC for it. You ever made a fighting game like boxing?

2.5 years with unreal, 4-6 months c++, made around 15-20 prototypes, some game jams but thinking of the idea now to narrow down to make a game to release on steam. Im in that zone of analysis paralysis, perfectionism etc… and trying to figure out where is the best place to put all my eggs in which basket. Genre (horror, ARPG or Souls like, adventure, Deck building)
