I don't play vanilla minecraft too much anymore. Modded minecraft, however, all the time!! I'm a weirdo and my favorite part of minecraft is the crafting stuff in menus, so even just a few tech mods or a progression modpack will have me sitting there smiling as I disappear into a room with a few metal bars and walk out three hours later with a nuclear reactor or something.

Setting up Minecraft servers is definitely much easier than SE, from the sounds of it. You can do it for free as well, there's a tutorial on the main website.

I went from playing Minecraft, to making 3d models for minecraft mods and youtubers. So not only it brings me entertainment, but also a nice amount of money. Minecraft is life!
