imho "Khan" saved the movie franchise and catapulted it into 2 more awesome movies. Quest was the greatest love letter ever written to a cultural icon.

The Wrath of Khan is a masterclass in how to make a movie. Acting, writing, pacing, and special effects. It shows a depth of knowledge about characters we have loved for years!! The parallels between Moby Dick and A Tale of Two Cities … and the arcs of both the protagonist and the antagonist. Can you tell I love this movie!!! ❤

I was a never much of a Star Trek fan, but Wrath of Khan was the perfect intro to the world and its characters. I’m sure it’s even more moving for people who watched the original series, but it’s a testament to the quality of the film that a newcomer can understand all the relationships and cry when Spock sacrifices his life.

“The Wrath of Khan” is like Jimi Hendrix. Decades of being deemed “The Best”, even if it’s not. In a close race, “The Undiscovered Country” beats “The Wrath of Khan” by a head, in my opinion. The story is what makes it #1 in my book. So sayeth this 60-year veteran of Star Trek. 🖖🖖

Khan is obviously the best, but... First Contact holds a special place due to personal things. Odd how a movie can help in tough times. Still, the great Ricardo Montalban delivered something all of us Trekkies (or Trekkers) will never forget.
