Jorge giving his life thinking it would make a difference only for the largest armada of Covenant ships ever seen to appear mere moments later

Carter without a doubt. Even in his final moments his voice was unshaken, despite knowing what he had to do. Plus him being a pretty cool character helped. Very overlooked in my opinion.

Kat's death. Her being cut off mid sentence by a needle shot to the head is by far the most shocking and sad. The most tragic is Jorge though.

Someone else brought this to my attention but I’ve appreciated it ever sense. Carters death shows noble teams dedication to the mission. Even Emile’s response “solid copy, hit em hard boss.” There’s no “No DoNt Do It, We”Ll FiNd AnOtHeR WaY!😢.” It’s all business. They know their duties as Spartans

They're all sad but Kat's always hit me the hardest personally. She's the only one to die mid sentence. She doesn't get a defiant last stand like Emile and she doesn't get one last chance to rally her squadmates and urge them to keep fighting like Jorge or Carter. She just dies. Suddenly, tragically and without warning. I think her being visibly and audibly shaken by the beginning of New Alexendria's glassing and that little moment of bonding she has with Six in the elevator moments before ("First glassing?... Me too.") makes it hit even harder. For most of the game Kat is the competent no nonsense brains of the operation who never shows fear and always seems to have a plan. But for once she has no idea what to do or what's gonna happen next and she's genuinely frightened.

Secret option: Noble 6. He was treated and seen as a tool for most of his life. When he finally gets assigned to a team, probably for the first time since training, he has to watch most of them die. Then, after playing a critical role in securing humanities victory over the Covenant at the cost of his own life, his sacrifice is never acknowledged. The rest of Noble team will be remembered for their sacrifice, but not 6. After everything he did, he will be forgotten.

Carter hit like a tone of bricks because he was the one who told noble 6 to leave that lone wolf shit at the door only to watch his whole team die then noble 6 stayed and became the Lone wolf again the whole game is an emotional roller coaster gain 5 yards and the covenant take a mile

First time I played this game and I heard, "I've got the mass" I knew none of us were making it out. But I still quote Emile's final words often. Especially if I'm playing with my buddies on helldivers

Jorge Felt the most Heartfelt, even more so since he is a Spartan 2 Kat was pure shock and relization of how the war is going Carter was the definition of Noble no fear, not regret. Just being a spartan Emile was the most badass and really shows that the deaths of his fellow spartan did hit him, He was ready as the last original Noble (ignore jun). But 6 was the death that we all felt He did not go quiet had made sure that the last man standing is alway sthe most lethal

I get Jorge’s death is the largest in scale, to then utterly be pointless as Thel’s fleet arrives, but I love Carter’s. It’s small in scale but very personal and the stakes riding on Noble 6 and Emilé making it to the PoA just adds to it. A bitter sweet moment.

While Jorge's death still moves me to tears, there's just something so tragically cathartic about Emile's confrontation with his the object of his obsession in a Noble (pun intended) way. I'm ready, how bout you? Yes Emile, I'm ready.

Jorge’s, both because more ships jumped in after his death, but also because even in my LASO runs there is always a marine left alive. That marine isn’t surviving an atmospheric jump, let him detonate the bomb. Jorge is coming with me!

The hardest death from that day is Halo as an IP itself... 15 years since 343I took over... (I voted Jorge tho)

Kat’s hit the hardest because of the shock value, but Jorge’s was the most memorable.

I will still to this day say "I'm ready, how about you" in random conversation.

Halo Reach turns 15 today. Which Noble Team member's death still hits the hardest?
