In the SEAL book By Water Beneath the Walls there’s a guy who was a POW in WWII who was apparently the baddest dude on Earth. Resisted like a demon possessed and even killed one of his captors. Apparently the Japanese weren’t gunna return him specifically after they lost, but they finally relented and he was like literally the last guy let go. You should do a story on that dude!
