03-02-2025 DAY OF NAVIGATION IN RIO SÃO FRANCISCO (FINAL) FROM THE SADNESS OF A BRUNETTE WOMAN A RIVER OF TEARS IS BORN The ancients tell that in a tribe of extremely strong warriors indians who inhabited the region of Serra da Canastra, there was a beautiful indigenous woman with long black hair who was daughter Cacique, the leader of the village. His name was Yati. And the heart of Yati belonged to the strongest of the warriors of the tribe. One day, these men were invited by death to a brutal fight against a terrible evil that was approaching. Would they be invaders? After the pre-war rituals, they left. The warriors marched with such vigor that the strength of their feet created long and deep canyons. Time later, some of the warriors returned, but the love Yati was not among them. The indigenous woman kept within herself another brutal struggle: despair against hope. And with the passage of time, despair struck the hope that remained in the heart of Yati and from this hope destroyed, drops of longing and sadness fell, which ran down the face of the beautiful brunette with long black hair and gave rise to Opará, the Rio-Mar, the São Francisco river or simply the Old Chico.
Today the river San Francisco is inhabited by several people who live on its water and by various supernatural beings that protect it. Some of these beings are extremely dangerous. (PIRACEMA is the period of reproduction of river fish species, where these animals swim against the flow of river waters to deposit eggs. Piracema is an indigenous word Tupi that means rise or return of fish. LAMPIÃO was a polêmico character in the history of Brazil, belonging to one of the armed groups known as Cangaceiros. The cangaceiros were groups formed by poor men and women who invaded and stole farms to divide between the group. They acted in the northeastern region of the country and some of these groups, such as were extremely violent. The final verses refer to the culture that developed and the progress that the river brought to the places that it bathes. There are many farms dedicated to the production of meat, fruit and vegetables. Also stands out the great production of GRAPES AND WINES)
