But hang on. Quizzes like this are awesome and super helpful, but your notation should be clear. For clarity, when you use a forward slash in a chord, that indicates that the number after the slash is the bass note. V7/III in E Major would be B7 in first inversion. B7 with D# on the bottom. If you meant B7 with a G# Major triad over it, you use a vertical slash, as in: V7|III. Or you could write B7|G#. Regardless, I’m not seeing where the b9 comes from if the chord is B7|G#M. Am I misunderstanding something?
