I guess the good news is that someone already recapped the read/write board, even though they could have done a much better job cleaning up after themselves.

C143 is a bipolar 4.7uF capacitor that should be connected to the wiper of the R135 digital output adjustment potentiometer on one side, and to R134, R133 and the base of Q106 on the other side. The leg of the cap that lost its soldering pad is the one that goes to the potentiometer.
