The Good Omens mini episodes include a lot of historical clothing. I especially love the Edinburgh episode in early victorian style. No idea how accurate the costumes are, but I can't just not love bot of Aziraphale's and Crowley's coats, they're just gorgeous

Our Flag Means Death season 2 would be hilarious to rank cause they do not care about historical accuracy really at all, but there’s also just incredible costuming decisions made that really fit the time period.

Killers of the Flower Moon is set between 1919 and 1925 or so! I enjoyed all the short, wide ties on the gentlemen, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'd love to see the Good Omens minisodes included, especially the one set in the 1820s.

The k-drama "Destined with you" has historical flashback scenes. One of them has a very nice pair of shoes in it that made me think of last years costume evaluation.

I'd really love to see a critique for the costumes (and esp the design of the Native American ones) used in Yellowstone's spinoffs, 1883 and 1923 🖤

Ehrengard is a Danish romantic comedy that is apparently set some time in the Victorian era. It is notable for the contributions of the reigning Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II, to the costume design.

I was just watching the second season of Loki and they travel back to 1893 in one episode and was massively surprised by how well they did. Gugu Mbatha-Raw looked fantastic. I think you’d like it! It was only one episode though unfortunately

I would still really love to see a retrospective of the Taylor Sheridan period pieces (1883 and 1923 🤩) if you are able to collaborate with any Indigenous-American experts to commentate on the indigenous dress in the series

I would love commentary on Killers of the Flower Moon and their costume accuracy from an Indigenous Prospective...especially on some of the woven pieces.

There is new Polish movie called 'Chłopi' (The Peasants) and it's adaptation of a book from early 1900s about late 19th century. The cinematography is beautiful, however it's animated, BUT hear me out, it's made out of oil paintings. And from what I've heard, the 'sunday best' and what we now call folklore clothing is great. Idk if it could be taken into consideration for this list, but apparently it's worth watching.

Loki season 2! Episode 3 called “1893” largely takes place at the Chicago World’s Fair (although there are a few scenes from 1868, too) so that’s where the bulk of the costuming would be (2 characters continue to appear in episodes 4 and 6 while in the same costumes, but I don’t think anything new comes up)

Warriors on HBO MAX! Season three came out this year and it's incredible. It's about the tong wars in San Francisco in the back half of the 1800s and is advertised as being based on the writings of Bruce Lee. It involves characters in both Chinatown and residents outside of Chinatown, so there's a variety of costuming to look at too.

Just saw a pretty fun French vampire movie called Le Vourdalak, which is apparently set in the 1780s. I adored the costumes, make-up and wigs!! Would love to hear from specialists, if you can manage to find video or images from it.

I'm excited to see the analysis of Lydia Poët! My family got so annoyed at my constant running criticism while we watched it XD Mostly the issue is it says it's set in 1883 and then gives her a firmly 1893 wardrobe. She also sews her own split skirt with a home sewing machine which is like technically all possible but really doubtful she'd have the skill to do that on a whim given her status as fairly upper-class and the fact that home sewing machines weren't really a thing.

Maybe an iffy suggestion since it was made by a fellow youtuber, but: The Sudbury Devil came out this year! It's an indie horror movie that takes place in late 17th century New England, and despite a very low budget (the cast is like... 6 I think) they tried really hard for historical accuracy, down to everyone speaking in an appropriate accent. Atun-Shei Films is the youtube channel, they make some excellent history content. Actually it'd be really cool to see some kind of collab between Bernadette and Atun-Shei, if they're both amenable of course! I bet there's a lot of potential in crossovers between historybounding sewing/craft youtube and historical documentary/events explainer youtube.

Some suggestions from the Polish side of historical dramas: I've already seen people mention The Peasants (Chłopi) so there's that, although from my limited ethnographic knowledge the costumes are mostly a vibe (I've seen the film once in the cinema but I vividly remember corset on bare skin scene, which is a sin in itself but also made me question how a young peasant girl from the Polish countryside would acquire a boned corset). It's animated but there's some BTS material that shows how the garments looked on set. I think the film is not available online yet but I may be wrong 🤔 There's also Dewajtis (only available in Polish), a drama series set in late 1880s with flashbacks to 1860s. It takes place in Lithuania, in the countryside, but some of the characters are nobles who travel to bigger cities and female students from Paris as well as some American characters. I was actually quite impressed with the costumes in this one, so would love to see someone more knowledgeable voice their opinion on that aspect of the show

Season 4 of "Babylon Berlin" had its free-TV-premiere this autumn. It's a (really good, high budget) german series taking place in 1930s Berlin. (It obviously takes place after WW1 but maybe it's close enough ;) ) It's based on a really well researched book series about a police officer. Regarding the costumes it's very interesting, because you get to see a lot of different social classes.
