I honestly just appreciate any content that you put out. It’s nice to go back and rewatch these and appreciate them more. I don’t mind sucking it up and watching an old scratchy VHS rip, it kinda adds a classic flair to it.

Compilations all the way! Love having them on in the background playing my Switch in bed, feels like I just have old G4/Tech TV on while I play, which means pretty please keep the commercials intact! It really adds to the charm of it all imho. Ty so much for the uploads, you are beyond rad! 💜

Just adding my 2 cents to keep in commercials. It really adds another layer of nostalgia to watching them. Thank you for preserving and uploading these. This was my favorite show when I was younger

I prefer compilations, vhs quality is great no worries, I LOVE that the commercials are kept in, it keeps the nostalgia kicking. I don't have a preference as far as direct uploads or premieres go, and I prefer the channel being G4 focused. Thanks for the uploads!

I'm just grateful to experience my childhood all over again through your videos. I love that you keep the commercials in them. You are truly a saint ❤️

Single episodes with commercials, direct uploads and g4 focused but original contest is also welcome. You are awesome 👏

Single episodes, playlist, uploaded directly, keep the commercials, both. VHS quality is great! Thank you for all you do!

Your vid randomly popped up on my feed (I love it by the way!). There's been a huge resurgence of long form video tapings of old shows and channels with old commercials (like Saturday morning cartoons from the 90s with commercials or just a local Fox54 taping from way back then) it really pushes the nostalgia and preservation of old media. I really hope to see more of it! I've actually downloaded some of these long form vhs tapings and got them playing on my dining room TV while I'm in the kitchen, it really brings out that nostalgia!

Thank you so much for uploading old xplay episodes, my wife and I love watching them. 1) Single episodes. 2) Stand alone episodes. 3) Uploaded directly. 4) Keep commercials. 5) I'm here for G4/TechTV, but I would not discourage creativity :)

First off, LOVE your channel and content. I’ve been binge watching all your X-Play videos. It’s been a blast while I work so thank you for the memories. Now for the questions; 1) I prefer compilations 2) I don’t mind the VHS quality 3) They can be direct 4) I kinda prefer no commercials 5) It be cool if you did a compilation video of Icons (which was later called Game Makers). The first version where it told the history about Gameboy, Mario, the video game crash of 1983, etc.

I like it all. I love theive chat premieres you do for marathons. Single uploads with commercials are great as well for me as I pick them for playing later and I personally love the breaks left in, as do others I know.

I think people really enjoy the commercials and I wish there was more cool underground stuff like Kevin Rose stuff

I prefer compliations to the fullest with commercials included makes me feel like I'm watching TV back on 2003

I love having the commercials included. I like both copulations and single episodes. It's fun to see all the Christmas episodes together for example. Or random single ones.

Thanks for uploading these, please archive the eps on internet archive if possible. I do like the themed compilations/marathons but like the option for watching individual eps. I think I watch them randomly but a playlist does help with seasons. I like the comerricals its a good nostalgia blast from the past and I can always forwaed them.

I love your channel! Been watching for YEARS! I prefer single episodes with the commercials included. Makes me feel like I am back in the early 2000's watching G4 again. I watched from G4's first year until 2006ish when they started canceling all my favorite shows. I didn't care for Attack of the Show really either. I will try and answer the rest of those questions later. It is super late and I am sleepy. Thank you for all the years of nostalgia my friend

Compilations are great but I would love to see more of the 2006 era X-Play with the orange layout and big ball. That was the one I grew up with.

Personally I just enjoy watching complete rips of old stuff I used to watch. Commercials and all!

newspooiechannel
This channel has been around for 9.5 years and the X-Play 20th Anniversary compilation is already the 4th most watched "public" video on the channel after less than 8 days. Chances are it will gain the status of second-most watched by this time next week. 😮
Thanks again to all the long-time viewers and those who have joined since the pandemic began, including the last week!
If you have a moment, here are a few questions that don't require accepting unwanted cookies and/or sharing your personal information with nefarious third-party sponsors...
1) Do you prefer single episode uploads or compilation videos?
2a) If single episodes, do you watch as standalone episodes or on a playlist?
2b) If compilation, would you watch scraggly old VHS conversions if edited into a compilation?
3) Do you prefer content to be uploaded directly or as a premiere with a live chat?
4) Do you prefer keeping in commercials when possible, or removing commercials?
5) Not that I plan on uploading anything in particular, are you interested in any original content or most specifically stuff like old content from G4 and TechTV?
This could be something, this could be nothing. I AM the master of procrastination, but I figured I would put out a few feelers to see what the audience does and doesn't prefer.
Thanks!
