A smart way to get rid of ads is to use a VPN and connect from a small undeveloped country. YouTube will only push ads relevant to you, so if you connect from Mongolia, for example, you might get one ad or none, because people there don't advertise on Google much. You're welcome :)

I often listen to things on YouTube to help me drift off to sleep. Went from taking at least an hour per day to drifting off in the space of a few minutes. I pay for premium because the commercials would wake me up again.

I subscribe. It's pence out of my week and it's a small price to pay for YouTube music and the joy of not having intrusive ads every 5 seconds. I recently couldn't afford my bill so thought I could do without premium to free up some money but one day of not having it made me realize that it's the best, couldn't live without it. I went back to subscribing ASAP and haven't looked back since.

I use YouTube for hours every single day so premium makes sense for me. As a creator myself I also like to support the platform!

I’ve had premium for a long time. My whole family uses it for YT Music, but YT is definitely my most used app by a mile so it’s worth it to me.

I like to listen to your videos while I work, so YouTube is playing from my pocket. That's one of the reasons for me for having Premium. And on pc I also have an adblocker.

I just have regular youtube and I NEVER skip ads when watching videos by any of the many hard working youtube content creators that I love and watch regularly. Letting the ads play is an easy way to support and give back to people who provide me with awesome entertainment that beats regular tv anyday ❤️🧡💛💚

Ublock origin. If it starts to give you the Adblock message go to extension settings and clear the cache and update filters. YouTube made 28 billion last year in ads, they’re just being extremely greedy at this point.

After using premium for a year and ditching it after the price hike, I don’t miss it. It’s only worth it on mobile. Most ad blockers still work just fine.

If you have the “preview” option selected you can watch the full videos without any ads. Just gotta be careful on scrolling 😂
