They got it just perfectly right. They could’ve done so many things, re-run so many gags, finished it with so many words, but what they chose to do was just the right mix of everything, it wrapped it all up just excellently in my opinion.

After watching the episode, and at the ending, my eyes and nose, they're like Victoria Falls now

The Ending at the tree got me, when the old footage appeared

We can only hope that 2 or all 3 will reunite in some fashion at some point in the future, not even car related. Even if that doesn’t even happen, it’s ok. Clarkson has a farm and new pub. James May has a pub and his own Gin. Hammond has drivetribe and Richard Hammond’s Workshop. We will see them all in some fashion even if not together. This finale was a great send off. I couldn’t have asked for anything different. A beautiful send off of the trios career together in beautiful cars and in a beautiful Country. I definitely shed some tears of 22 years of watching my favorite show come to an end. The ending was hard to watch. Brilliant on the editing team for guy punching everyone in the feels. There will never be another show like this and we will have all the references, laughs, and memories to remember for years and decades to come. I’m just happy they ended it on their own terms. I’m going to miss this a lot!

It's sad to think is the last one, but I never get tired of it so it's always rewatchable. What a journey it was.

You know that meme of a dude sitting on places and the caption says "when you've just finished a good series and now you're just..." I want to rewatch every single old TG series including all the specials then continuing to GT so that when I'm done, I'll be that meme guy again.

I still can't get over the fact that it was the last show. Watching TopGear was the main thing that helped me get through the darkest part of my life. No friends, no one to even talk to and my parents who used me as a stress relief and these three guys having a good laugh while spending time with each other. At least now I know what a real friendship look like.

One thing I loved was that all of the cars were almost the same age as them, which is quite nice imagery - by the end of the episode you can tell the cars had been through a lot, were getting on in years and had a long drive (a ‘grand tour’…), so in a funny sort of way the match of the cars with them was pretty perfect to end the show on. I’ll miss them terribly, they have been on TV for most of my life (I’m 30) - TG and the Grand Tour were my comfort TV. Good luck to whoever follows them.

It was a real bittersweet thing for me. The episode itself was great and a terrific sendoff to the boys' 22 year-long partnership, but knowing it was the last time we'd see them all together on TV made the ending of it hard to watch. For me especially, it was quite gut-wrenching, as I'd just got into the show last year! I was actually expecting lots more still yet to come from it, so to find out it coming to a close was quite a tough pill to swallow. Especially since in that time, I'd made so many good memories watching clip compilations of both it and Top Gear, (put together by you, Mustang150, and many others) until I finally moved onto watching the series itself and made even more! The Grand Tour has brought me so much joy these past few years; it's given me comfort through levity when I needed it most, and has not once ever failed to put a smile on my face or make me bust a gut with its fantastic humor. But, as the old saying goes... all good things must come to an end. And, whether we'd like to admit it or not, the fact is, though we'd all likely would have wanted James, Richard, and Jeremy to continue making the show until the end of time, they're not getting any younger and clearly can't keep doing this forever! (Plus, they did say they were running out of good ideas for it) So, I'm glad at least we were able to get one last hurrah out of the show, and end it on a high note. And at the very least, the show had a terrific lifespan! It ran from 2016 all the way up to now. That's 8 years! Plus, the show will never truly die, as we'll still have all the memes, videos, and old episodes to keep it alive. In the end, we shouldn't truly think of this as goodbye, but rather, "See you later."

It is very sad to hear them do the one final grand tour before they go their separate ways

It not the end nor the beginning it the start of something new. Like rewatching all of total wipeout with RH but it has a different meaning now.

I have my own vlog. I’ll tell you there but I was just smiling and laughing. This was a fitting finale for these 3 blokes from UK.

Just finished the last Grand Tour. Gutted to see the 3 part ways and the ending was great. What was your thoughts on the last show.
