Audio has a hard time being processed when ram usage is high. The easiest route is to just buy more ram but you could also look at what processes are taking up the most ram and cpu usage and kill those, that may help.

Hope you’re all good man. We miss you out here! Also for your audio you might try switching encoder to Apple VT H.264.

OBS can hog processing power from your CPU when recording high quality audio so your best bet right now is to record your audio separately from your video. maybe try using Audacity as it's free and extremely easy to use, but any lightweight audio recording software such as the built in one windows has will do the trick, you'll have to manually sync your audio and video in your editing program after recording but I'm sure that's something you could handle.

I'd rather listen to crappy audio from you than pristine videos from AI garbage.

Use your GPU instead of your cpu? Should make things a bit easier as GPUs have more cores than cpus do, unless it’s integrated in the cpu itself.

Your computer is probably running a load of unnecessary programs in the background. Do a "control alt delete" and get the task manager on and stop some programs. If possible disconnect from the internet and stop the virus scan while processing your video.

I think I finally found out what’s been causing the audio issues in my videos. Turns out it’s not my mic, but it seems that OBS has been using too much CPU and causing that annoying popping sound. I’m trying to fix it, but in the meantime any troubleshooting advice is much appreciated!
