Texas Iran connection is crazy

@westrim

Pretty sure that's the oil and emigrants connection. I'm way more curious about that smattering over in SEA and Ghana.

@sonnystaton

Aren't you part Iranian & live in Texas? That's probably it.

@Walker733

We are brothers from different mothers. We also have one of the best Masjids in TX.

I like how the US thinks Texas and the rest of the world is thinking New York like it’s 1950.

@706easy

There’s even a city called Iran, Texas. Although I think it’s spelled Iraan.

@cerealbowl7038

Keep in mind that "New York" will include searches for both the state and for the city.

@SolracCAP

Both really love themselves some religion!

@MartelSays

Its funny seeing Greenland on this map. I'm sure those like three extra searches pushed New York well ahead of the competition there lmao

@Guy-Mann

A couple christmases ago, I was playing that T-KO Jackbox game with my family, and when writing my slogans, the classic phrase "don't mess with Texas" popped into my head. But that was too generic, so I swapped it to a total nonsequiter country. "Don't mess with Iran" was a real hit with the fam that we still remember it today (our indoor snowman decoration is named Iran now because of it). And now I learn that there is a deeper connection between the two places than I think. I love learning that I am ultimately enthralled to the collective conscious undercurrent of mankind. It makes me feel less alone.

There is a very strong connection between Texas and Alberta due to oil as well.

What does this map represent?

@ciaronsmith4995

Insulting for the Persians to be compared to backwards Texas probably. Iran is such a civilization. Very smart people.

Florida south africa connection.

Someone on the Texas train explain the connection to me? Texas makes me think about Texas and forget about America. Is it the loud and ignorant aspects of the shared culture? Or is this some cowboy nostalgia? Texas defines itself against the US constantly, so I'm wondering what the connection is

@wrathofachilles

Thanks to movies and TV, New York is the only American city some people know, and sometimes they’ll even say “New York” when they mean “America”

@MSuyay

Well to be honest, Florida is kind of like South America....

@MrCmon113

Looks like bullshit. Looks like most of the searches for "New York" actually meant the city, not the state.
