I'd like to see something like the usual video providing an update on who the major candidates are and what the major issues are. It’s simple but also the most important thing.

You once made a video where you explained Memes made during the election. I think it was after the 2019 general election. That was a really funny concept! Gives you a funky and not overly serious structure to talk about the election.

As an American I don't have a clue about what has been going on with the other parties like the Bloc, the Green party, and NDP. So just one of your good ol'fashioned explainers breaking down the players and climate and how things have changed.

Would love to see a breakdown of the differences between the party platforms and what has been said by the leaders so far. I know you’re the main source of political information for a lot of people so it would be cool to see a breakdown of the key points of this election and what each party is saying about them.

Given the upset in polling with the liberals now polling ahead, which would have been unthinkable a few months ago, I think it'd be cool to see a video on the biggest election upsets/turnarounds in popularity before elections

The most valuable thing to me is to understand how Trump's behavior will affect the campaign (particularly Pierre's) and how it will affect the results. I have to believe that Poilievre really wishes Harris had won, even though he would disagree with her on so much.

I don't have any suggestions, but I wish my Canadian neighbors luck on their next leadership! Always have been, and always will be good people to me.

I'm already so sick of the way the conservatives are focusing their campaign on "why Carney is bad" instead of "what the conservatives have to offer". I would really love if your coverage focused on what each party's platform is about, how that compares to that party's historical views, and what the Canadian people are actually asking for. Also if and when one issue starts to dominate the conversation (Trudeau with legalization, Harper with hijabs that one time..) I'd like to see you breaking down what the real issues in the background are.

The polls for a long time predicted a Conservative landslide, now the Liberals are suddenly leading, explaining what happened could be an interesting video

I'd like to see you tal about what Poilivere and Carney both have planned regarding Canada. I've seen Carney release a full on plan regarding green energy but nothing on Poilivere. I'd like to hear what both parties actually have as a plan to improve Canada.

I'm interested in military capacity, of which we will never have enough to address Washington... Unless. The issue of developing Canadian nuclear capability and pols responses to the issue would be very enlightening.

I'd love to see a video explaining the situation that the NDP is in and why they haven't been able to expand or change leadership. As an American with a surface level understanding of Canadian politics, the inability of the NDP to move on from Singh / capitalize on the unpopularity of the Liberals is very puzzling.

Definitely start talking about the real power that Quebec has. I’m admittedly a Francophone but have always been fascinated by the fact that everywhere in Canada is getting tons of immigrants but Quebec. Part of the reason why I want to move there. They seem to be the only ones defending their French identity. Would love to hear more about the division between Quebec and the rest of Canada. Surprisingly, isn’t much info about Quebec online unless you search in French

Yes, make us Americans feel better by reminding us of the Harper administration 😜

A breakdown of each party's manifesto would go a long way to informing members of the Canadian public

Honestly I’d love a premature autopsy on the arc of Singh’s political career and the NDP under his leadership- both of which seem to be coming to an end like 6 years too late

a discussion on the actual issues would be valuable. I'm a lefty but I trust you to be reasonably fair in the presentation of all the positions... trying finding them though, it never seems to be about the issues

How much lead time do Canadians get from the announcement of the election to the election date?

Maybe do a video on the CBC vote compass? It covers a list of pertinent issues to this election (can you think of other issues of the election not included in the test) and summarizes each party's position

For Election Day, stay up all night and drink wine on live stream. It’s what the people WANT and NEED.

The press is reporting that Prime Minister Carney will call an election any day now! Canadian elections are always a big deal for this channel. Do you have any suggestions for the sort of things you’d like to see me make videos about during the campaign?
