Man, thank you, i Will say what i can with my poor english As Someone who doesnt have friends to talk about kpop, or music itself, i always look forward to your videos to hear your insight, opinion, sometimes breakdown, music theory wise, and when you posted a video about music i enjoy, to hear your thoughts about them, made me Very happy. I Hope your life is always blessed, we all go through tough times, and some words may encourage us, may my words give you some Power to revert your situation. I try to stay positive and as i read your message, i realize you were always positive in your vídeos, and i am rooting for you, when life seems tough you cant give up on your likings. I really like your channel. I just discovered you a few months ago through your Enhypen content, but your overall vibe and the way you express yourself is what made you one of my favorite channels! The most important thing that stood out to me is how you end every video. I always stood till the end to hear that last outro where you wish good on the world because I needed it. And your words of wanting others to spread the love and happiness to others as your goal is something that made me really happy. I hope you continue to be happy yourself and do what you need to do to be happy. Only do what you truly feel fulfillment in and despite worrying what others may think if you cut back on content or take a break, it’s not important. What matters is you’re in a happy mind! And again thank you so much for everything. You seem like a good person so I really wish the best for you and your future. Whether that’s making videos, or other parts of your life you’d like to do!

I just saw this. No worries, and you are the only one who can take care of yourself, so it's excellent that you are taking the time and energy to do that. Keep hanging in there. My life from about age 26 to about 31 was a crazy, chaotic ride in a lot of ways, but that period ended so much better than it began! And it kept getting better overall for quite a long time. Thank you for being part of the minority reviewing SF9. I've appreciated your ear and your ability to articulate so well what you hear. I've learned a lot from you about this music I love. let me start this off with a thank you. for being such an amazing person, a constant update schedule while having a lot going on is truly an impressive feat, you deserve to know how great you are for that. I respect you a lot. When it does come to that point that you have to end things, I would miss having you on my notifs, I remember saying something along the lines of these words back then too. You're really one of the very few who was genuine and passionate in the kpop reaction community, the best one if not. You don't just react, you listen and appreciate each and every single artist in the industry. to which, we appreciate you for all your hard work these last 2 years. So if youtube has become too much, and felt more like a job than a supposed hobby, then it's okay to let go of it altogether. Your well being is top priority, always ! ! thank you for sharing happiness, we had lots of fun hearing all the waffles. Take care of yourself.

Man, just when... I'm just kidding. In all seriousness, I've had periods of time where I was super stressed for health related reasons and school that I wanted to avoid kpop altogether so I wouldn't form negative associations with it. For some people, kpop is a stress relief but for me it's just fun! So when I get bogged down by life, I want to totally avoid it until I'm free from whatever I'm going through. A lot of people think reaction type content is easy, and in many ways it is! But there's just this constant flow of content to react to, people asking for a hundred different things, a list that's a mile long. It really does make kpop less enjoyable for a lot of reactors. Taking a step back until everything feels new again or life calms down is a good idea. Whether that means just less videos or an actual break is up to what you're comfortable with. The way you enjoy and break down the music is one of the reasons you're one of the first channels I come running to for an MV or album reaction. I discovered your channel through Xdinary Heroes, and I can't wait to see you get back to them someday! Until then, please rest. Please focus on yourself. I'll be here when you return 🩷

I'm thankful you've reviewed all those smaller kpop artists which I'd like to appreciate more after watching your videos. If you want to listen to some non kpop music for inter mezzo in your own time, you can try watching Bloodywood - Jee Veeray MV. It's an Indian Folk Metal band with great messages and very interesting music. Afterall, take care of yourself first and foremost.

I did not think that something that was supposed to be a temporary form of creative release between finishing my Master’s dissertation and finding a job in the UK (which obviously didn’t happen) would last this long. In fact, this has essentially become my job, even if I have no financial gain whatsoever. But even after moving house several times, and even countries and continents twice, somehow we’re still here.
This year started with mess after mess for me: moving back to Japan, trying to become an actual Japanese person again, getting into uni again, and moving house, all within 4 months. Add on the mess from the UK, it was nearly 8 straight months of no stability in my life, and all of that takes a toll on someone.
…And that’s where this gets tricky. Whether it’s getting overloaded with school, other personal events or just a general decline in my mental health, life isn’t great right now. That’s been made clear to me by the fact a lot of my hobbies I no longer find fun or get enjoyment out of. Unfortunately, k-pop is one of those hobbies.
I can’t really articulate this thought in a coherent way, but taking all that time for k-pop just doesn’t feel enjoyable right now. Sure, the music has been pretty good this year, but my mess of a life combined with the fact K-pop this year has been a mess itself, man has that joy been sapped dry. Sapped so dry, I’m considering dropping this whole YouTube thing altogether.
That day isn’t today, not yet at least.
But I will take a step back in terms of the amount of what goes out. Less MVs and albums covered moving forward for a while, at least until I can figure out what I want to do with this “hobby-turned-job?” thing that this has become.
I hate that this may seem like a disappointment for some of you, because that’s what it feels like for me. But I need to actually take care of myself, and not just pretend like I am.
But I don’t want this entire thing to be down and gloomy, so let me take some space to say a big thank you to everyone out there. Thank you for thinking this random dude on the internet who waffles on and on about k-pop on the internet is worth your time, thank you to those of you who have put me onto new artists, and thank you to everyone showing love for their favorite artists.
We’ll see what happens moving forward, but no matter what happens with the channel, I will always be your friend, ally, and shoulder to lean on, whenever you need me.
So take care of yourselves, take care of each other, spread the love, and I’ll see ya whenever I see ya.

今日で２年間か…
修士論文書き終わった後の遊びでやり始めたこのユーチューブチャンネルがここまで来るとは全然思ってなっかた。実際イギリスで仕事見つかるまでやろうかなと考えてたのが代わりに仕事みたいになりましたね。あんだけ引っ越しとかしてもビデオを作りつづけてここにいる。
今年はホントにごちゃごちゃの年になってるんです。4か月以内に日本に帰ってきて、日本人になって、入学試験やって、引っ越して学校に戻って、イギリスの最後の何か月も足すとおよそ8か月安定無しの生活をするとホントにメンタルに来るんですよ。
それでちょっと難しいことなんですけど、学校の疲れなのか自分の人生内のハプニングのせいなのかわからないんですけど、嬉しくないんです。実際に考えると好きだったもの好きさがなくなり始めたのが最初の証拠で今はK-POPもそのケースなんです。
きれいに説明はできないんですけど、今年のK-POPの世界がもごちゃごちゃで自分の人生がごしゃごしゃになってるせいだと思うんですけど始めた時に比べるとK-POPのビデオを作る楽しさがだいぶ減ってるんです。減りすぎてYouTubeをやめる事を何回か考えたこともあります。
ですが、今日はやめるわけではありません。
ホントはやりたくないんですけど、自分の面倒を見るのが一番なのでこれからあの楽しさを取り戻せるまではだいぶ作るビデオを減らす予定です。
たくさん言いましたけど全部悲しい話だけにしたくないのでちょっとトーンを変えます。
ビューアーの皆さんに、このインターネット上の野郎に時間を割く価値があると思ってくれてありがとう、新しいアーティストを紹介してくれた人たちにありがとう、そして好きなアーティストに愛を注いでくれるみんなにありがとうございます。
これからどうなるのかは分からないですけど、変わらないことはどこにいてもいつでも私はあなたのK-POPの友達です。なので次に会うまで自分自身を大切にし、互いを大切にしてください。
