We're here to hear Stakuyi yap. This is the channel where he yaps. He makes no secret that he yaps in great detail. And we make no secret that we enjoy hearing him yap. That dude couldn't just leave quietly if he didn't like it. He just had to say something stupid.

My new favorite phrase is: This is not an airport. There is no need to announce your departure.

History is rarely a happy go lucky story of uninterrupted successes.

Honestly I respect your channel for giving a view on African history that doesn't just blame everything on colonialism. It doesn't treat these countries as perpetual victims and gives them their own agency.

My brother is Christ before any insult is unironically one of the funniest things ever because it’s like yes I still love you, but man are you stupid.

"Why do you only sell clothes at this clothing store???"

Its almost as if the situations happening today require context that sometimes goes back decades. I get that he wants the "this just happend" story, but why it happend is important. Homie is on the wrong channel for his news.

I love how the icing on this is the fact that: Stak joked/prided himself in this video, sort of as a gag, for NOT actually going near as much into OLD old history, focused on the most present, relevant things, and explained everything in actually "RECORD"-time.-- ....--and THIS is the video that guy decides to comment that on. 😂

This dude has obviously never run across Moon Channel. Why yes, I do want to listen to a 3-hr video on Korean gender dynamics where every third line the presenter dives into Confucianism. As much as I love a good summary, sometimes I want ALL the context.

I could not comprehend the shear level of incompetence I just witnessed in two sentences.

I enjoy the historical perspective you provide at the start of the videos.

Goes to a history channel and complains that it’s talking about history 🤦♂

I can somewhat empathize with his issue. It's not just as straightforward as "I don't want to hear history" I think him and many other people are just sick of being blamed for the all past and present wrongs of the world. Colonialism is often portrayed as an absolute negative but in many cases it is and was an improvement from the dictators that ruled these nations. People often forget how much these countries flourished while under colonial rule.

"Go to the facts" is a very interesting way of saying that history doesn't conform to their worldview.

Running into 3 headwinds that are in ascendance in contemporary America; 1. Short attention spans and 2. Thirst for quick, simple, easy, answers and 3. Rejection of anything that does not fit a cultural imperative. This is how we have gotten to where we are and where we are unfortunately going (nowhere good unless you hate freedom and love authoritarianism). Only answer, keep doing what you are doing. People who want something other than all of the above are hungry for it.

As a New Zealander of European descent, colonialism is messed up. The maori culture is facinating and all the europeans managed to do was rob the maori culture from it's own natural evolution, now we just have a self perpetuated cycle of generational resent where maori people are saying "go home whiteman" to people born in NZ and New Zealanders of European descent who hold so much resentment towards this contempt that they treat maori people with even more disrespect than before. I grew up in classrooms of europeans, maori, koreans, indians and africans in equal measure, it wasn't until I became a teenager that I started noticing the invisible lines that divide us as human beaings. It's all absolute bull. People who don't think colonialism is that bad have no idea of the long term damage it causes to society. We shouldn't grow into a divided society, distancing us from the very people we grew up with as childhood friends.
