It’s scone. Anything else is just ridiculous.

I asked the maid in dulcet tone, To order me a buttered scone. The silly girl has been and gone, And ordered me a buttered scone!

The 50/50 with over 10,000 votes indicates that it should be pronounced to rhyme with ‘spoon’

50 50 with 595 votes?? This is more divisive than I thought!

The fact that this continues to be perfectly 50/50 is hilarious

Shenanigans! I'm calling fake. There has to be a bot balancing the votes. Nothing could split a vote so cleanly. I demand a recount! 😂

Omg. EVERYWHERE I’ve lived they’ve always pronounced it scone (gone) yet we called it scone (bone) when I was growing up because my parents came from South Yorkshire / Derbyshire. Apparently South East / North East it’s Scone (gone). Apparently South West (Bristol at least) it’s scone (bone). Given that’s it’s me that makes them - and I make VERY good ones - you have to call them scones (bones) in my house!!!!

I say scone but people who say scone are entirely valid and I love them.

How do you pronounce scone? I'm not releasing a video this week but I reckon this argument will fill the time pretty well
