The thing about limited frame rate animation in 3D, is that you ultimately NEED the same types of animation tricks that are done in 2d to make it look fluid. Like squash and stretch, and smear frames, impact frames, etc.

Oh. I kinda liked the choppier animation style. It made me think of Spider-verse.

The limited frame rate animation looks so amazing and way way better than the best parts in smooth. I prefer it tbh

I honestly liked the 12 frames a second a bit better but understand why some dont. Also just change it if its what you want and dont keep it if more people say the 12 frames is better.

Even though I liked the style, you always gotta do what feels best. Your style is unique and I can't wait to see it again.π

I feel like you could have the limited framerate in only some of the scenes and it would work, but I imagine that's a lot of extra effort.

Moving forward I will be going back to the smooth animation style for Bathtub Estrogen, here's why
TLDR. I want to master my original highly expressive style before trying anything new, (This means if you like the original style, it will be getting a massive upgrade to whole new level. I've already re built my pipeline to support this)
If I ever DO try stylized, instead of just slapping a 12 - 16 fps limit on pre existing animation, i want to build my workflow around that stylization to bring the best out of it. I ultimately feel unhappy with the end result, as although is some places it looks great, others it is quite jank
