First off, I'd like to thank everyone for tuning in for the video. It reached 100k in 5 days with a 97% like percentage. My fastest growing video after 9 years on YT BY FAR! More to come. Remember I post MORE THAN JUST GEOMETRY DASH videos, so be aware of that. Also, thank you for 4k subs!

About the video itself, I heard A LOT of good talking points and had a lot of good discussion about the topic. Remember, when it comes to the skill ceiling of GD vs. other games, we are simply speculating and not projecting or asserting any claims. The thumbnail may speak against that, and I do stand by it to some degree. But remember to watch the video in its entirety.

That being said, a lot of people brought up some good points about the skill ceiling of GD vs. e-sport games, and my opinion changed a little bit. I think the rankings in the videos are accurate for reaching the highest rank in those respective games, like RL SSL. Or placing in FNCS qualifiers for Fortnite. When it comes to comparing the skill of those games' very top players, like in LoL or CS:GO, and obviously Chess, that's when I think that exceeds the skill ceiling of GD, and our players. I have NO problem admitting that, despite what some seemingly think. MAYBE it's the same case with RL (some ppl say it's like beating SLH), but not Fortnite or Apex, I stand on that hill...lol.

GD is probably the highest skill ceiling game that is single-player, or the "hardest" non-esport game...I think that's fair to say as of right now. But who knows...it might not be the case...

A lot of people asked for a comparison to Roblox Etoh, and I think there is already a good video on that topic. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKPWW...

Finally, shout out to ‪@fakedenni‬ , this video would NOT be possible without him!

While I obviously have some disagreements that I've voiced pretty strongly with some of the conclusions of the video. I must say I appreciate stuff that sparks discussion and takes interest in top level play, and I wouldn't want you to stop making this kind of content any time soon. I want there to be no illusions or misunderstandings so I'm just gonna say this. GD is a HARD game at the top for how simple its roots are, and I think everyone who pushed that ceiling forward has a right to be very proud of themselves, we don't have the millions of dollars or institutional backing of major companies or the hundreds of millions of players that esports do. I never see GD being easier than big esports as a bad thing or as a way to rag on GD, it's just to contextualize it, and hopefully make you appreciate both more for what they actually are. GD doesn't have to be the hardest thing humans have ever done in order to still be well... pretty damn cool!

@fifty-one212

My take is that gd is the hardest solo dependent game oat meaning that the only person ur facing is u and that you have to improve

It’s a crime if this video isn’t a nominee for best video in the 2025 gd awards

I liked the video, however it seems more targeted to new players, or people outside of gd, making it really boring and common sense stuff for people who been in the community for awhile. watched it while stargrinding. :)

I havent watched the video bur i hope that you said what you ment by hardest game is it the hardest game in beating the hardest challange or becoming the best player or playing perfectly becouse then its much easier to compare to other games because i think beating the hardest challenge geometry dash would win but becomming the best player i would say osu and playing perfectly chess is not eaven close to compare against something like gd or eaven clash royal becoming absolute perfect is harder then in chess

@Theory_39

Beat saber is by far harder ( I explained this in a different comment) plus it’s single player and bit an esport
