@gengar-1997

ooooh boy, this one will take me some logical thinking - yellow (earth) vs purple (fire) - well, fire can destroy anything on planet earth, but it can also create things, and since fire clearly has a bigger role in maintaining earth's ecosystems, i am giving this win to purple. - cyan (electricity) vs pink (steel) - this one is actually quite simple. steel serves as a conductor for electricity, so pink is getting the win here. - red (ice) vs green (light) vs blue (grass) - this one is probably the most complicated matchup here. light melts ice, but grass absorbs light (and water), whereas ice freezes grass. we're essentially in a rock-paper-scissors situation here, because an element might beat one element, but it also gets beaten by another element. however, this isn't the end, because ice crystals can also be formed from light, so red wins this, but green and blue still need to be decided. since light's only advantage already moved on, that means that blue beats green, and avoids being in the losing matchup. however, since blue already lost against red, that means that blue can't move on to the winning matchup, so let's say blue gets gets to sit out for a bit. so after this first round, the matchups look like this: Winning matchups: Purple (Fire) vs Pink (Steel) vs Red (Ice) Sitting out for now (will face the winner of the losing matchups): Blue (Grass) Losing matchups: Yellow (Earth) vs Cyan (Electricity) vs Green (Light) let's start with the losing matchups, shall we? - yellow (earth) vs cyan (electricity) vs green (light) - electricity doesn't exactly have the best effects on the earth, but it's created by light, which also gives life to the earth itself. green wins this one, whereas cyan gets 6th place and yellow gets last place. - purple (fire) vs pink (steel) vs red (ice) - fire melts both steel and ice, but ice makes steel quite brittle, and when it melts, ice can do quite the number on fire. pink gets 3rd, but because the fire and ice interaction is kind of like a yin-yang, i will randomly choose whether purple or red wins. and according to the randomizer... purple gets the win here (i assigned purple 1 and red 2, and the randomizer gave me 1, so it's purple). red gets 2nd place. - blue (grass) vs green (light) - yeah, there's no guessing what happens next here. blue gets 4th and green gets 5th. so, according to logic, the final results would be: 1st: purple 2nd: red 3rd: pink 4th: blue 5th: green 6th: cyan 7th: yellow even if i just gave blue a rank directly after the first round, it wouldn't have affected the rankings at all so yeah, hopefully this will help
