Form of Therapy

This song came at such a strange time. I know that isn’t how SEVENTEEN meant it but I’ve been struggling with depression over the past week and with my personality, sad music keeps me in that headspace. I’m more a “need a kick in the ass” kinda person.

Something I didn’t mention about SUPER and the DBZ relation: specifically GOKU in the anime and his race of people have a special trait: the more they get beaten down by a fight, the stronger they become and can unlock their true power.

This song has that same strange effect. I feel so weak and exhausted, especially after this week. But when I was feeling most down it feels like they’re forcing us all to rise up even stronger.

As I mentioned the spirit bomb, it’s a move where the whole planet of citizens gather their hands up and share their energy with Goku. It’s as if this song is all leading to one giant spirit bomb but SVT is gathering their hands to make US stronger…

I might be looking at this too deeply but ima be honest I’ve cried a couple times listening to SUPER. The way they managed to capture emotion into such a hype af song is truly an outstanding feat.

Thank you for always coming back when I need you most ‪@pledis17‬

I was in a really dark place around the time BSS's Fighting came out, and though it took me a while to listen to it, when I finally got to, it felt like it was the thing I needed to hear. It's not the first time it's happened with SVT's music. They really come out in the right time for many of us. I hope you're doing well, PD-nim! Glad SVT is giving you the boost you need.

PD 🥺 I feel you, sometimes I think that SEVENTEEN members might not know me in real life, but strangely, they are the only ones who understand me! It's amazing, that our emotions are connected to each other. Keep it up PD! We are here for you, we are always here to support and wait for you. Take your time, eat and rest well. Come back to us healthier and happier! We luv u ❤

i felt the same when fighting was released and going viral. i was about to start classes again and i was struggling with feeling unmotivated and stagnant about not only my current major, but also at something ive been trying to get into for a few months now. so, a song where they literally shout "you can do this, don't give up!" for 3 minutes straight was definitely the kick in the butt i needed lol. all the love for seventeen and seventeen bss edit: but also, i felt a little called out with the "we're all earphone-wearing zombies". that was uncalled for, hoshi

pd, your explanations that tie in w the lore really gave me a new perspective to the song, and it made 'super' so much more meaningful to me as well :) thank you so much for your perspectives bc now i enjoy the song even more would you say this song has big room vibes? i totally get the elevated sound you were talking about, and i think that lingering melody you mentioned + the scale of the mv contributes to the song's big room feeling.. really gives that isolated mood in some parts of the song that sound like it's hero against the world

I’ve been thinking about this feeling like for years. I mean it seems like SVT knows what I need even better than I do. I’ve been expecting something nice and vocal-ish these days, but than I saw super and turned out that exactly what my soul has needed. How…… how do they do this… I love them so much..,

Need a kick in the ass, YES! Like I said under the reaction video, the music that helps me the most in times of grief is really aggressive, loud metal. When my dad passed away in early March, going to that Bloodywood concert a few days later was just what I needed. Getting my face ripped off by songs like BDSK.exe was therapeutic in a weird way.

For me, “I don’t understand but I luv U” is the best one of the album
