The music no longer moves me the way it used to. All my heroes turned out to be zeros. And that was The Day the Music Died

Wow Mike that is powerful and I would expect nothing less from you. To quote you and what I have been saying for 25 years: Everything worth knowing is a lie!

I just listened to" Lord Randall". The parallels to "A hard rain's gonna fall" seem obvious.

I always refer to the lyrics of "Too Late"/ "Foot of Pride"… Keeping that in mind some of the authors claims don't seem to be so far-fetched... In general: Yes, it's likely that Dylan had familial ties to the military (like many other musicians in the 60s and 70s, f.e. Jim Morrison and Kris Kristofferson) and reading Dylans book gave me the impression that he may have "something to hide"..., but Yoichi Shimatsus essay is full of allegations, speculations and very serious accusations (especially Dylans involvement in the murder of Richard Farina). My first question (before and after reading this long essay): Any proofs? probably cannot be answered, at least not in this essay... There are many things that Dylan can be criticized for - but this stuff seems to me too weird...

There are a lot of parallels to the research of Dave McGowan. Military and intelligence connections in the families of the celebrity artists. Mike, do you believe that Bob Dylan was ever a song writer or was he merely a front man, put into the role he was in for a clandestine purpose?
