Audio Hotline

I will be doing a video about room treatment with a special guest soon! What questions do you have about audio treatment?

What is the proper placement? What method should be used to identify the most effective areas to treat to reduce reverb and reflection during recording?

My current studio is a mess for sound. I’m thinking, what are the best budget options without building sound panels.

Please go over the mirror test and the mode test. Mirror test is the hardest to try to describe to someone in text form. Showing it would be so much easier. The mode thing is just a lot of math but is important as hell.

Often when people talk about acoustic treatment, they aproach it from a post production "listening position." What kind of treatment concepts apply for recording sessions? What do they think of Tube Traps?

Would you mind shedding some light on plugging the port at the back of speakers? My speakers are really close to the wall and I feel like the reflection...muffles? part of the lower frequencies

One thing you might want to address is acoustic treatment is generally not soundproofing just echo absorption. I have a quick question for you, let's just say I wanted to contact lewitt for example to get some microphones to review, is there a special department you contact, or you just contact their general customer
