Hi Guide, I recently invested a good amount of money on the windows of my new house which is by the roadside with heavy traffic and noise coming in from there. As suggested by the vendor I went for a double glazed unit glass window on the upvc casement profile. 2 5mm toughened glass with 11mm air gap. But I see only a 20% reduction in noise level. Is laminate better or DGU? Can dgu be uninstalled and turned into laminate?

Hi, I'm wondering if you can help me. I have a 2000 camry that I bought end of February. Ever since i got it, around 40mph with the window down, I get a chittering noise that sounds plastic but I haven't been able to figure it out. Can I possibly send you a video i took? Also whats weird is if I roll the window up about an inch the noise stops. Also if I have the driver window all the way down and lower the rear driverside window, the noise stops as well. Can I possibly email you the video? Its about 30 seconds long

"Good morning, sir, I have a problem and would like an expert opinion on soundproofing. I couldn't find anyone better than you, my respected neighbor. He built a staircase on the wall adjacent to my wall, and I am now suffering from the sound of footsteps on the stairs. I removed the wall and installed 5 cm thick rock wool and rebuilt my wall, but it's not effective. Please, what is the best solution?

Have you ever bought a soundproofing product that turned out to be useless? What was it?
