Spending a lot of time on small details and touch-ups for the rooms in the game I've already made. Also, along with cutscenes (which I still need to build a larger one to show off the mechanic), I've also finally added footstep sound effects with code that makes them switch depending on what terrain Kibitzer is walking on! I'm so excited.
I've been grappling with how to go about editing my video in between game development. Between the intensely stressful subject matter and my fear of putting my game down for too long, I've decided to make a loose schedule and try to dedicate one or maybe even two days a week to it. Then I'll need a break to keep my spirits up and my game progress going! So it'll be... a LONG time, before it's finished.
If I could just think of a darn name for my game, I would go ahead and make the YouTube channel haha. Though perhaps I ought to make a little teaser video first as well...?
