Have you considered making songs into characters based on artists, music genre and mostly lyrics and meaning? Like Teen Idle by Marina and the Diamonds, Outrunning karma by Alec Benjamin, Placing the Blame by Self, the Vocaloid song Balsam, or My R, etc. Just suggestions, though, I'm NOT forcing you to do anything!!!! Coquette, trinketcore ! Also I love the idea of if certain music genres were a oc/cute girl could go super strange with very niche and to go further older genres that are unheard of or have fizzled out I think of like glam rock, techno, ragtime etc.

Vaporwave would be so awesome. It's always been one of my favorite aesthetics and I think a character with the Greek statue characteristics would be pretty cool in your art style!! (I ALSO LOVED THE VIDEO, the Webcore and Cyberpunk characters were my favorites, I really liked the message converyed with the darker design elements)

Is there an aesthetic for Indie? Like- almost everything I enjoy either is or was an indie project. INSIDE by Bo Burnham, Steam Powered Giraffe, Jack Stauber, Kittydog, anything by Toby Fox, early FNAF, MANY artists I like are indie.
