Shadow was easily the MVP of the series. Not even close. Best Shadow since 06. 2024 really is the year of Shadow🔥

Prime Shadow was such a nice breath of fresh air over what we’ve gotten for the character for what feels like forever. Was great to have him be more in-line with his 2000s writing over a one-note stereotypical rival character

While this was the best characterization of Shadow since 06, I really did enjoy Nine because i always wanted to see Tails as a villain and an animated Sonic vs Tails match. Granted a part of me was a little sad that Sonic doesn't actually try to defeat Nine but that does fit within Sonic' character of trying to befriend people and not defeat them, except Robotnik. Still goes to show that Tails would probably be the most dangerous character in the series if he ever turned. Robotnik's intelligence, Sonic's speed, Knuckles's grit and Shadow's willingness to cross that line.

This was easily the best interpretation of Shadow we've had in ages! I'm happy to see treated less as an edge lord and more as a more mature hero.

They portrayed Sonic’s character so well! I loved his humor, unseriousness, etc, he was better than the newer Sonic’s, they were missing his unique aspect and I believe that they got it nicely in Sonic prime.

Shadow followed by the Roses. Shadows character was top tier here and we haven't really seen it this good since 06. I'd even argue this is on par with SA2 Shadow. His voice actor is also top tier. I'm not a fan of Kirk's voice for Shadow, so it makes me a little sad that Prime Shadow's voice actor unfortunately was only used for this series. I'm really hoping Sega continues with this character direction for him even if I'm not a fan of his current VA

It's clear that Sonic does not want to see any version of Tails, or his other friends for that matter, fall into villainy like Eggman.
