I would tell my younger self to stop trying to compete with others. God made you perfect and everything will be okay. Stop trying to grow up so fast! ❤️ thank you Caroline for your beautiful, kind words 🥰

I would tell her that her thoughts and feelings matter. I’d tell her that injustices will happen, it isn’t fair, but the problem wasn’t her. I’d tell her that sometimes people can’t love her in the way she need, but that isn’t her fault. People can’t give what they don’t have. I’d tell her she is perfect just as she is and that I love her.

She is loved and is beautiful and that her voice DOES matter! And to not let ANYONE think they have a right to belittle her or harm her, bc they never had that right!

I think, you said everything that I feel, Ms. Caroline. If I could tell myself one thing, it is live to the fullest. Don't let others take that joy. Let nature, nurture you. Best of health and much joy to you🪷🌅💞

Caroline Jordan
What's one thing you would tell your younger self? 🤷🏼♀️
Heres what I would tell little Caroline (pictured here in first grade):
“Have more FUN with life. Be less focused on completing to-do lists and more focused on cultivating meaningful life experiences. Try not to live to work but work to LIVE. Our world is all about making money and being “successful” that we forget what really matters. Success isn’t about being the wealthiest or fittest person - it’s about how much JOY you experience while living. As you continue to travel the road of life, do your best to avoid letting anyone or anything get in the way of your joy. Live a life that sizzles and pops and makes you laugh out loud every day. Because you don’t want to get to the end, or to tomorrow, even, and realize that your life is a collection of meetings and “somedays” and errands and working 24-7 and empty promises. .
Go ahead and sing out loud in the car with the windows down, and dance in your living room, and stay up late laughing, and paint your walls any color you want, and enjoy some sweet wine and chocolate. Yes, and go ahead and sleep in on clean white sheets, and throw parties, and paint, and write, and read books so good they make you lose track of time. And just keep living and making the world glad that it gave life to someone who loves and cherishes the gift.” 🎁 .
That's what I would tell my younger self and a reminder I hold close to my heart ♥️
