Whenever I am in my hobby room working on something the only thing I ever listen to are the Mass Effect videos. Every. Single. Time. I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite channel on YouTube.

Thank you for everything you do. I have your vids playing at work and at home. I love when non gamers hear them and ask what they are. š

Thank you for keeping the channel going. Themes from DX and Mirror's Edge have served as a bit of a catalyst (pun intended) when it comes to work or relaxation.

Thanks so much for all the vids you make. Their length is perfect for both my workouts and D&D (what can I say destiny music hits different when climbing a 12:C)

Always loved your content, allows me to enjoy more niche ambient tracks from some of my favorite games. Say, have you ever considered doing Star Wars The Old Republic? It has some great hidden gems when it comes to ambient music, and they are generally difficult to find on YT.

Thank you for your efforts! When I discovered your channel in 2017, the 1 Hour versions were perfect for studying. I still listen them now while working! Boring desk job never felt more epic :)

I know about the image issue. YouTube doesn't quite explain it litteraly when we post content, had to fetch and browse some extra links to understand what's happening, but if you want the whole image to appear on computer & even on phone : The best thing is making a 1:1 project (1024x1024 for instance). Just like an old school CD cover. And it would appear normally. By the way, phones have better link resolution : don't ask me why (Reduce requests on network packets? Probably). I don't work at YouTube technical department, i had to inspect the tags source code to realize YouTube shrinks the image quality by approximatively 90% for computer end users. On my phone, the image just appears as how i sent it : no crop & no quality shrink. So my guess is that they stored somewhere the original we sent, but they only keep it for phone users š

Hey! I noticed your Mirror's Edge Catalyst videos all have midrolls again, and other playlists probably do too. I just wanted to ask, was this a conscious decision or is YouTube at it again?

Gaming Ambience
Just a bit of an update community post...
Took a bit of an off and on break the last few months but will be back shortly with regular uploads especially as the summer fades away for 2024. Hope everyone has had a great year so far. Just some info on stuff I'm working on...
Mirror's Edge Catalyst - I will mostly be focusing on some limited versions of the different district themes, without the bass or beat which are mainly used as pause menu songs. I have had a lot of requests over the years to do these and hope to do a bunch more. Also I may start the Rezoning districts day and night mixes soon.
Mass Effect - I just finished recording and editing for the Collector Station end mission on Mass Effect 2, in fact the first videos may go up on Monday (August 19th). After these I may take a slight step back from Mass Effect. I want to tackle the Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3 next, though. I did Omega around 4 years ago but would love to revise them for Legendary Edition.
Cyberpunk 2077 - I want to finish most of the gang themes and do more ambience videos around the city. It's not a super popular game on the channel, however I still love the game world and want to add more videos to the Cyberpunk playlists over the next year or so.
Dragon Age: Inquisition - I will be remaking a really old Therinfal video I made seven or so years ago and will be doing some newer stuff I haven't made yet. There is still a lot to do on DAI.
Baldur's Gate 3 - One of the newer games on the channel. I have a few nearly complete videos from the Underdark, and next I'll be tackling Gyrmforge. Still a ton to do on BG3 as well.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Breach tension/combat and the remaining combat themes from Prague... these are some of the only remaining things I haven't done yet from the game. Sadly one of my mods is blocking Breach from launching, so I must disabled it which sucks and will slightly hinder my ability to make these videos a bit more cool.
New games - I want to add a few more games to the channel perhaps by the end of the year, or at least start playing them. Elden Ring was a game I wanted to do last year but only got around to doing my first video this past August. It's a slow process to commit myself to a new game while doing other stuff I regularly do on my channel.
Lastly I want to thank everyone of you for enjoying the content I've posted over the 9+ years. 10 years of GamingAmbience is coming in January 2025 and I will not be slowing down after that. So again thanks for commenting and liking the content! Also thanks for those who have left super thanks on YouTube, donations and who have become Patrons over the years on Patreon.. I can't thank you enough. Even though I don't offer any extra incentives over there other than my continued commitment in uploading over here on YouTube, some of you with the amount of time you have remained Patrons is truly amazing. If anyone wishes to however go the extra mile and support me with a donation or monthly pledge, please become a Patron on Patreon www.patreon.com/gamingambience
edit: the format of these pictures didn't post properly on here...sigh.
