severance is unmatched atm not sure why it took to season 2 for it to become more mainstream(not quite mainstream like the boys or something)

If anyone here hasn’t watched severance. WATCH SEVERANCE. It’s a surrealism TV show so you should know whatever genre is your favorite genre, this show is something everyone will like as if makes you think and wonder like any surrealism show. For those who don’t know what surrealism is, think clockwork orange, or literally every Jordan Peele film Nope, Us, Get out.. or Black Mirror.. eerie, plot twists, not inherently scary at all but weird to think about because it does hit close to home which is why it’s called surrealism.

I love Severance to bits. Usually mods into films than series, but, man, did Severance impress me!

Each deal with the concept of identity differently. If the question is what’s the best out of the four that’ll depend on who likes what and why. If the question is which presents the existential crisis best, or even further, explores the crisis the best, that’s also very likely subjective, depending on your own ideological framework. There are various levels of dissociation represented in all, but in different ways. Same with isolation. Alienation. Desire. These are all human feelings but none of them are ever discreet or defined. So trick question. All of the above.

Severance is easily one of the best shows of the 21st century. All the others are great, but it’s hard to put them up against Severance.
