This isn't a "Debate me, Bro" moment. I hear a lot of DungeonTubers crying "conspiracy theorist" and "outrage mill" whenever they're talking about their own critics before anyone else has a chance to insert an opinion.
Poisoning the Well: Presenting adverse information about a person or argument before they have a chance to make their case, so that any subsequent statements they make are discredited out of hand.
Ad Hominem: Attacking the person (e.g., calling them part of an “outrage mill”) rather than addressing the substance of their argument.
I think a lot of the crying over "clickbait titles" and such has a lot more to do with a certain awesome somebody calling out the Daggerheart Community Gaming License for what it is: an absolute disgrace. The truth does tend to sting. Ironic how the same people who called out Wizards of the Coast in 2023 are now doing their darndest to cover for Darrington Press doing the exact same thing.
