There are so many ASMRtists that do whispers but so few that do soft-spoken, and even fewer who do it well. You are one of very few who has perfected soft-spoken ASMR.

Whispering can still be bad for your vocal cords. Take a rest when you need to! We will wait.

Rest, and don't strain yourself! Whispering is worse for your vocal cords! Take a break, or the breaks will schedule themselves for you

I love your videos no matter what, even in silence. Your ASMR techniques are amazing and I also love the jewlery clings your rings make

I love the timber of your voice. Whispering is definitely fine, but your soft voice is special!

It wasn't that I didn't like the whispered video, but I prefer the soft-spoken. I will watch whatever you do. 😊 Get well soon

Whispering is one of my top triggers and yours was fantastic in the video. I’ll watch whatever you post anyway because you give tingles aside from your voice!

Hi August! I am sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather. I enjoy both soft speech and whispering - however, I am sure that I have heard that Whispring can damage your vocal chords and cause long-term damage. However, this is anecdotal, and I am not a medical professional. As someone who really enjoys your videos and appreciates the effort you put in, I would suggest that you try and take time to rest and soothe your vocal cords and feel better. Like I said, I’m not a professional, but I am a mum and Nana - I have found over the years that warm honey and lemon drinks are really beneficial for sore throats and lost voices etc and, if you’re feeling a little naughty - you could have a little brandy! A hot toddy works wonders for the soul and body!!!

Didn’t mind it at all!!! You could do a no talking video with just like adjustments or hair play and the sounds alone would do you justice!!! 💙

As was said, whispering is actually worse for your vocal cords! Soft spoken is definitely my preference. Whispering stresses me out.

I liked it but I love your soft spoken so I had to click stick with soft spoken, but going back n forth is cool too. I hope your voice gets better quick and you feel better if it's from being sick.

Obviously don't do it if it's causing any discomfort Lass. Rest, and maybe a single malt .🥃

Whisper is nice, but apparently whispering puts more strain on the vocal apparatus than soft spoken/speaking normally, so probably best to just rest until better.
