🚨 Is the Role of Scrum Master Redundant in Mature Teams? 🚨

Yes.

Being a Scrum Master has its perks, no doubt, but let’s be honest:
When a team reaches a certain level of maturity, self-organization, and flow, they don’t need a Scrum Master.

Mature teams that handle impediments, manage their own communication, and continuously improve without external guidance.

There’s a time and place for the Scrum Master role, but once the team has matured, the constant oversight only adds unnecessary overhead.

It’s about empowering teams to become self-sufficient, not relying on perpetual guidance.

P.S. Don’t be afraid to let the team grow beyond you. 🖖
