I think my takeaway is that this makes it even sadder that we can't see Spider-Man show up because of rights issues. Like, there would be a perfect setup for Peter to team-up with Matt here but instead Spider-Man will just be weirdly absent. Really hoping Fisk is in Brand New Day instead.

While personally this is my least favourite season of Daredevil so far, it is amazing seeing Charlie and Vincent never missing a beat. Although I have to say, this show has some of the most noticeable ADR I have ever heard.

Honestly what I'm MOST excited for is that this situation is the PERFECT way to get The Defenders AND MAYBE EVEM START THE CHAMPIONS Daredevil needs an army of people, preferably Vigilantes, to fight back So people like Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Danny Rand, could easily come in, however we have direct ties for someone like Kamala Kahn and Kate Bishop to appear, Clint could probably ask for help from Bruce Banner and by extension maybe SKAR AND Jennifer Walters?? MAYBE? NO JUST ME? THAT'S FINE And if the Sony BS wasn't a thing, a more mature Tom Holland Peter Parker would fit perfectly here. Alternatively, IF we set season 2 after Doomsday, this could be a perfect setting for Mayor Kingpin to be one of the territory owners of Battle-World, so we still get a street level story. The possibilities are ACTUALLY endless here. I'll be happy if they just serve another phenomenal DD story

My biggest disappointment is how uninteresting the new supporting cast is. They don't even feel like characters but more like archetypes with cliché lines. Specifically Daniel, Cherry and Kirsten McDuffie. That is especially unfortunate for Kirsten because she's such a great character in the comics.

What are you talking about? The story of the season was just starting in episode 8 and the entire finale was just a setup for season 2, and after all this, only three episodes actually matter in the storyline out of nine: episode one, eight and nine. This was the worst season of Daredevil, there's one word that defines this season perfectly: Disappointment.
