true form negative diff,crystal king is a worthy vessel because of how mallable it is,the overlord stated this.at best he lost to a fusion of the ninjas powers(only about 10 percent of usm golden power) and the golden weapons.

Crystal King: - Resurrects and powers up Harumi without even existing - Turns the Oni Cave into his own evil lair without having a physical form - Powers up the Crystal Council - Corrupts the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu - Brings to life his Vengestone Army (makes them able to crystalize and corrupt sentient beings by contact) - Boosts up his evil lair (turns it into a flying fortress that nullifies powers near it) - Crystalizes all of Ninjago City - Was going to destroy the Balance by overpowering the Creation with his own Darkness Dragon: - Lost to Lloyd (genuinely the only thing he does in this form) The big difference between the Crystal King and the other Overlord forms is that he actually DOES things on his own. Unlike in LotGN where he needed the Dark Matter and machinery to use it and attack Ninjago, or in Reebooted where pretty much everything that lead up to him becoming the Golden Master was done by his minions, everything I mentioned for the Crystal King was done by him and nothing more than his own power. It was genuinely an unstoppable force whose defeat I'd say could be considered plot armor. At least the series was teasing and hyping up the apparition of the USM, but nothing lead up to the Crystal King being defeated by a Golden Ultra Dragon born of the Golden Weapons, which have been around since day 1 and we never knew they could do such a thing.

Crystal king : a ''worthy vessel''. It took the strongest form of golden power to destroy him (dragon form wich enhance elemental power AND recharged golden weapons all combined and led by lloyd), and he has more feat. Corrupted the all realm by himself without a Big tank, 1 v 3 lloyd harumi AND ONI FORM garmadon. Destroyed wu with golden dragon armor and dragon blade. The only feat of true form overlord is getting defeated by lloyd

DF Overlord Mid Diffs. If Oni Garmadon and Golden Oni Lloyd can harm Crystal King, then I don’t see why DF Overlord wouldn’t be able to do the same, especially since he was equal to a guy that uses Golden Power which is far more powerful the Oni Power. Also the fact that USM Lloyd had to go inside of him to blow him up just proves how good his Durability was in DF so I don’t think CK would be able to do enough to actually badly hurt him.
