Life has been a whirlwind over the past couple months, empty pockets ironworks is on a hiatus until the gridlock of winter lets up and I can muster the energy to tackle the tasks ahead. We have been looking for a property with land and a home big enough to accommodate our family of 7. Fortune smiled upon us and we purchased dec 13th a beautiful 5 bedroom home on 8 acres outside city limits. The only drawback is it doesn’t have a shop, it has a 40x60 barn that’s about 2 Kansas windy days from meeting its demise. It also appears to have been electrically wired by a dyslexic 8 year old and is as air tight as a Wolfle ball We’re debating building a new building $$$$ or trying to salvage the barn. Yet to be determined. The house is beautiful, the family is happy and healthy and we cannot wait for spring so that we can enjoy the acreage a bit more. I hope to see you all soon with videos.
