A rapper isn’t someone who just mumbles nonsense on a beat. A rapper is a modern-day poet. If rap were really that easy, everyone would be doing it — and I’m not talking about basic rhyming skills here. Not everyone can play with words. Not everyone can present their writing creatively within a verse. Not everyone has a deep understanding of poetic devices.
So if you’re a rapper who truly lives and breathes this art form, salute to you. You’re doing incredible work. The ones who understand the depth of your craft will love you wholeheartedly — and for those who don’t, don’t waste your time lowering yourself to their level of understanding.

Your art is for those who value writing — not for those who create their own shallow definitions of rap without meaning or depth. Be proud that you’re a rapper, and that you chose this genre.

Liking or disliking any genre or song is completely your right,
but judging that genre through your own limited understanding—
without proper knowledge—
is not wisdom.
This doesn’t apply to just one genre,
but to every field, every art, and every form of work.
I may like or dislike something,
but until I truly understand it,
I have no right to call it good or bad.
Understanding art is just as important as respecting it.

रैपर वो नहीं होता जो बस बीट पर बकवास करे,
रैपर असल में एक आधुनिक कवि होता है।
अगर रैप सच में इतना आसान होता तो हर कोई इसे कर रहा होता —
और यहाँ मैं सिर्फ़ बेसिक राइमिंग की बात नहीं कर रहा।
हर कोई शब्दों से खेलना नहीं जानता,
हर कोई एक वर्स के भीतर अपनी लिखाई को रचनात्मक ढंग से प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सकता,
हर किसी के पास poetic devices की गहरी समझ नहीं होती।
इसलिए अगर तुम एक ऐसे रैपर हो जो इस कला को दिल से जीते हो,
तो सलाम है तुम्हें।
तुम बेहतरीन काम कर रहे हो।
जो लोग तुम्हारे शब्दों की गहराई समझते हैं,
वो तुम्हें दिल खोलकर प्यार देंगे,
और जो नहीं समझते —
उनकी समझ के स्तर तक गिरकर अपना समय मत गँवाओ।
तुम्हारी कला उन लोगों के लिए है जो लिखाई की कद्र करते हैं,
उनके लिए नहीं जो बिना मतलब और गहराई के
रैप की अपनी नकली परिभाषा बना लेते हैं।
गर्व करो कि तुम एक रैपर हो,
और तुमने इस genre को अपनी आत्मा से चुना है।

किसी भी genre या गीत को पसंद करना या न करना आपका पूर्ण अधिकार है,
लेकिन बिना समझ या ज्ञान के उस genre को अपने मायनों से आंकना—
वो समझदारी नहीं है।
ये बात सिर्फ़ एक खास genre पर नहीं,
बल्कि हर क्षेत्र, हर कला और हर काम पर लागू होती है।
मैं किसी चीज़ को पसंद या नापसंद कर सकता हूँ,
पर जब तक मुझे उसके बारे में सही ज्ञान न हो,
तब तक मैं उसके बारे में अच्छा या बुरा कहने का हक़दार नहीं हूँ।
कला को समझना उतना ही जरूरी है, जितना उसका सम्मान करना।
