You came to my parish! Nice! I grow scallion, thyme and hot peppers in my backyard. I just want to know where you found basil and that other stuff you have. I have to buy dry herbs

Dry thyme is not a scam it's simply a way of preserving it longer. Everyone knows fresh thyme is more potent than dried thyme, but fresh thyme will stay fresh for a week max while you can use dried thyme for months.

Dude I really appreciate the message and your general vibe, but I made a slow cooked kangaroo bolognese last week (guess my nationality I dare you) and I threw a metric sh*t tonne of dried thyme in thinking it would do nothing and it was wayyyy too thymey π¬ But yeah, grow your own herbs, you won't regret it (but don't be too liberal with the dried ones either

Dry thyme is actually more intense than fresh thyme. Stronger and more concentrated flavor
