I’m glad Nimali was able to reintroduce the particular highlights that (she?) wanted to preserve, but I gotta say that the initial lighting that you did blows my mind. I do 3D design in Blender as part of my job, and so I’m obsessed with lighting. This is quite a gift you have.

Amazing, simply amazing!! The whole process helped me so much. Thinking of color in the context of light, or rather, color as a product of light, is magical to me. Hope you do more things like this.

Nimali did an awesome job of taking on the feedback there. Skilfully incorporated all the lighting changes you suggested but retained their own characters and initial design decisions

This image makes me appreciate the channel name even more. A good example of the beauty he described in that other vid, very easy on the eyes indeed.

Can't help but stand in awe of how much a person's understand and implementation of colour can change a scene or image

Lighting Mentor
I recently asked if anyone would be interested in having their art recolored and got an overwhelming response. Here is the final image of Nimali's original, my recolor, and then Nimali's final repaint. It was such a fun collaboration! I shall have to do it again soon. I received nearly 150 images for potential recolors so I decided to take down that post and post this one instead. Thank you all for being such a creative great community!! www.nimali.org/
