I think it’s the equivalent of a craft room tour. All the organization hacks, your tools (what you use and how you store them). A must have tools video would be awesome too! Tools for the novice and those for the experienced carpenter - maybe a holiday gift guide for the carpenter/DIY creator.

It would be like a show of all your tools, how you store your clamps and the spare bits of wood knocking about. What people want to see, I reckon anyway, is what you use to make such cool stuff. Maybe explain how you use tools to get a certain result and so on. Anyway that's my suggestion.

Thinking about how most of your shots shows the entire shop I've noticed that there's like no clutter or tools and stuff anywhere so everything is stored on this magnificent cabinets, I guess that it would be a cabinet walkthrough and the internal layout on how everything is stored and divided. Also on the youtuber side your camera rig, tripod, lights, and how it looks from your point of view, is like a Behind The scene video. Also I think you've showed in the past a separate room for wood storage I guess a shot of that and any upgrades. I think is a great video to showcase that after years of doing this you still don't need hundreds of thousands on expensive tools and entire warehouses of machinery for your projects and I so wholeheartedly appreciate that 🥰

Shop tour would be great! Looking to see how you layout your tools in the room, and what your solution for lumber storage is, including offcuts.

Another thing to add in the shop tour is your general work flow when you build projects. Once designs are done, from sourcing the raw timber and how it gets through each stage of the build in your workshop. Could be worth mounting a camera high above your workshop which shows how you move around as you build.

Go around your shop and tell us why you have it(things, tools, furniture etc..) and why you like it.

It would be fun to do a walkthrough in your shop with you. Maybe explain the tools you use the most and don’t forget those that you rarely use, but are gotta haves! Lol… most importantly, let Lucy and Bubba have their show time too! You’re the best! Keep on building.

Shop tours are a masculine thing to show off their FESTOOL collection.

I think that your little shop looks great! People need to pay more attention to the videos. I can clearly see your shop setup in many of your videos. 😆😆

Well just keep building projects and filming it! You know we all love that!

Suggested tools for the beginner to the experienced diy-er would be great. Tips and tricks to keeping a shop organized and efficient. I know I'm really good at starting a few projects while working on a project. Most importantly though, we want to see your pets.

Show what tools you use. Put links to them in the description. Show your shop layout and how it helps with work flow. Watch one or two on here and you will get the idea of what most want. But make it your own…

Just thought of this as your latest video was released today. How about a video showing how you come up with plans and decide on dimensions and joinery and things like that as you are creating the plans if this makes sense?

Shara Woodshop Diaries
Hey friends! I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately for a “shop tour” video. This may sound silly, but I don’t really know what that means. Since my shop is pretty much just one big room and you can usually see all of it in any given video, I’m not sure how to give you a “tour” that would be anything you haven’t already seen. I’d love to hear from you—what would you actually like to see in a shop tour video?
