Something that really helped me (a very stubborn and willful person) with this: Recently my counselor, a wonderful lady who practices by faith, explained to me that God isn't just an observer. Whether we invite Him or not, He suffers WITH us, He feels what we feel, He is right there with us in the worst, and best, moments, experiencing it with us, whether we believe it or not, whether we invite Him to or not. He is our Father, and would never leave us to suffer through something alone. That changed my experience with Him. I always saw Him I guess as sort of an observer, one that felt sadness or anger or pity or joy on our behalf, but not fully THERE. But I realize I was wrong about that. Every step, every moment, He has been there, and that is what people mean when they say He carries you. You are, truly, never alone, and you are, truly, beloved.

As always, HG, you’re rite on time! Woke up this AM to my husband being very sick. I prayed Proverbs 18:10 and called on the name of Jesus. My husband is better now but prayers would be very much appreciated.💜

Holy Groove
Life has moments that feel too heavy to carry, when fear rises, when loss hits, when everything seems to fall apart. In those moments, we often look for someone or something to run to. But no place is safer, no presence more comforting, than the arms of God.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
(Psalm 46:1, KJV)
God doesn’t promise a life without storms, but He promises to be our shelter in the middle of them. His presence doesn’t always remove the pain, but it gives us peace that pain can’t take away.
When the world feels unsafe, He is your refuge. When your heart is breaking, He is your comfort. When you don’t know what to do, He is your steady rock.
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”
(Proverbs 18:10, KJV)
The truth is, God doesn’t expect you to face everything alone. He invites you to run to Him, not as a last resort, but as your first response.
So when fear, confusion, or sadness come, don’t run away. Run toward Him. The closer you are to His heart, the smaller every storm becomes.
📖 Prayer for you:
“Lord, I pray for the one reading this right now. When the storms of life come, be their safe place. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength. Surround them with Your peace and protect their heart from fear. Help them to run to You first, knowing that You are faithful to hold and carry them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
