I finally spoke with Geek Squad today and the guy told me I shouldn't worry about a hardrive failure due to the newest Windows update with my current workload, it really only occurs during really heavy write sessions, meaninf if youre downloading or moving really large amounts of data at once, like installing and running high end games, an example he used was COD, or if youre unzipping or downloading a folder with like 50 GB. Overall, if you are on Windows 11 and have the update, if you aren't doing those things you will likely be fine.

Hope geek squad is going alright, I'm glad most people don't have to deal with that darn update!

Glad you don't have to worry about this dang update. I am surprised they mentioned running COD could possibly trigger it. Although downloading and updating it could, i had warzone and i swear it took up 200 gigs or more in total.
