I also have disc injury and I know how debilitating it can be... Last time I had problems it took me around one 1 year to wake up without pain again... Surgery was suggested to me, which I refuse because I have 3 little children to take care for, and it would be impossible to properly recover after... I would actually be very interested in knowing how you are dealing with it and what is helping you manage your symptoms ❤

<2 days ago you posted that you're in constant pain, can't bend down, can't look down and now you're doing an 8K hike. I hope you understand that this is somewhat confusing.

Just a girl who is testing the limits of her injury… nothing new to see here 👀.
Going back through my photos when I first suffered my disc injury in 2020 it took four months before I was able to walk any distance and even longer before I could do the hobbies I loved so I’ve been buckling myself in for something similar but so far my progress has surprisingly good 🤞🏻.
My head needed a change of scenery today and an iota of normality so we went for a short walk in the Peaks and Chrome Hill always delivers!
This route is either 8km or you can extend through Longnor for an 11km circular with between 450-650m of elevation 👌🏻. A fun walk if you want to feel what scrambling is like with the safety of little exposure and easy navigation as a beginner topped with awesome views ⛰️.
I’m still a long way off another day traverse of the Cuillins or sending some 4000ers but everyday we’re getting just a little bit closer 🙌🏻🩵!
